Merchandising Management

Merchandising management is the science of evaluating human behaviour and buying habits in order to determine the best way to stock, display, and sell goods at retail stores. It's no accident that the ice-filled tubs of soda are sitting next to the cash register at the convenience store on a hot summer's day -- a merchandise manager determined that more products would be sold by doing it.
